MEMBER SPOTLIGHT...In June, I will be traveling from Cincinnati to New Taipei City, Taiwan with Cincinnati Sister Cities, as I’ve been accepted as a Chaperone for our Student Ambassadors. I am the founder of the Global Learning Project; our mission is to reduce the generational cycle of poverty by closing the opportunity gap among young people 12-26. The GLP is currently working with students to offer an opportunity that promises to transform the lives of high school students. I am working with three of the thirty students from Cincinnati Area High Schools, to raise funds and participate in this transformative, life changing trip.
Cincinnati Sister Cities is a wonderful opportunity for student’s and schools to become ambassadors between countries. Cincinnati Sister Cities has a presence in 4 countries around the world and have been creating people-to people connections between communities for over 50 years. The Cincinnati Sister City’s Schools mission is to promote peace through mutual respect, cooperation, and understanding. The goal is to 1- integrate the Cincinnati Sister Cities model of citizen diplomacy into youth and education. 2- Offer, “people-to-people,” connections to students. 3- Motivate cultural exchange and global awareness among students through project-based learning.
The commitment for Chaperones is $3,000, I’m halfway to my goal- and I’d love to have your support. The cost for this trip covers my airfare, travel insurance, and room and board while I’m in Taiwan.
My hope is to raise half of the amount through my own friends and family, and the other half through my job’s income, and working diligently to identify and complete fundraising opportunities with local business- Chipotle, Wendy’s, and Kroger. I’m happy to share more about Cincinnati Sister Cities Student Ambassador’s Program and the economically disadvantaged, underserved students that I’m working with in preparation for this trip.
Thank you for considering my request. I’m very grateful for time and consideration and your support. I am confident that your investment will allow us to work together to improve the quality of life for young people, here in Cincinnati. Monies are due May 30th, 2016. All contributions are tax- deductible.

The Four Agreements - #1…Be Impeccable With Your Word
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak
against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the
direction of truth and love.
The Four Agreements - #2…Don’t Take Anything Personally
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a
projection of their own reality. When you are immune to the opinions
and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.
The Four Agreements - #3…Don’t Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want.
Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid
misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement,
you can completely transform your life.
The Four Agreements - #4…Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when
you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your
best and you will avoid self-judgement, self-abuse, and regret.

My Prayer For You

your pilot - no cause for alarm. So trust in Him fully, each step of
the way; and He’ll be there with you, yes, day after day!

***Satan isn't after your joy; he is after your strength. The devil wants you too weak to pray. He wants you worn out and burned out. Satan wants to kill the head because he knows the body will fall! But the Lord will lift your head and shield you from the devil's plot against you, if you put trust in Him. As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried. He is a shield to all those who takes refuge in Him. 2 Samuel 22:31.
Remember...Judge not, and ye shall not be judged; Condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned; Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven. Luke 6:37.

Happiness depends on what you can give. Not what you can get. ~Mahatma Gandhi
Remember…Every problem is an opportunity to trust God. Christ must be the center of your relationships because He provides a stable, fixed point of reference; otherwise, your relationships will be frail and fragile.

If you are going to achieve excellence in big things, you develop a habit in little matters. Excellence is not an exception, it is a prevailing attitude. ~ Colin Powell
Remember……Ask, and it shall be given to you; Seek, and ye shall find; Knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Luke 11:9.
Life's most persistent and urgent question is, "What are you doing for others?" ~Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Directions to Our Father's House...Make a Right onto Believeth Blvd. Keep Straight and go throught the Green Light, which is Jesus Christ. There, you must turn onto the Bridge of Faith, which is over troubled waters. When you get off the bridge, make a Right turn and keep Straight. You are on the King's Highway - Heaven Bound. Keep going for three miles: One for the Father, One for the Son and One for the Holy Ghost. Then exit off onto Grace Blvd. From there, make a Right onto Gospel Lane. Keep Straight and then make another Right onto Prayer Road. As you go on your way, Yield Not to the traffic on Temptation Avenue. Also, avoid Sin Street because it is a DEAD END. Pass up Envy Drive and Hate Avenue. Also, pass Hypocrisy Street, Gossiping Lane and Back-Biting Blvd. However, you have to go down Long-Suffering Lane, Persecution Blvd. and Trials & Tribulations Avenue. But that's all right, because VICTORY Street is Straight ahead! Amen!
Remember this... God can take total disaster and turn it into total victory!
Did you know...The type of seed you sow determines the type of harvest you'll reap. The good news is God has all the money He needs to fund ministry through His church. The bad news is - it's in your pocket! Remember, you will reap what you sow! Scripture rerferences: 2 Corinthians 9:6; Galatians 6:7.
