April is Nation Child Abuse Prevention Month, 2014. BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA A PROCLAMATION
In the United States of America, every child should have every chance , in life, every chance at happiness, and every chance at success. Yet tragically, hundreds of thousands of young Americans shoulder the
burden of abuse or neglect. As a Nation, we must do better. During National Child Abuse Prevention Month, we strengthen our resolve to give every young person the security, opportunity, and bright future they deserve.

We all have a role to play in preventing child abuse and neglect and in helping young victims recover. From parents and guardians to educators and community leaders, each of us can help carve out safe places for young people to build their confidence and pursue their dreams. I also encourage Americans to be aware of warning signs of child abuse and neglect, including sudden changes in behavior or school performance, untreated physical or medical issues, lack of adult supervision, and constant alertness, as though preparing for something bad to happen. To learn more about how you can prevent child abuse, visit
www.ChildWelfare.gov/Preventing.

A Note from Body & Soul - A Celebration of Healthy Eating and Living: Eat For Color. It’s important to eat fruits and vegetables of different colors. Each color is a sign of different important nutrients that work
together to help protect your health. White – cauliflower, mushrooms, onions, garlic, parsnips, shallots, turnips, ginger, bananas, pears.

Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God." Luke 18:27

***Satan isn't after your joy; he is after your strength. The devil wants you too weak to pray. He wants you worn out and burned out. Satan wants to kill the head because he knows the body will fall! But the Lord will lift your head and shield you from the devil's plot against you, if you put trust in Him. As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried. He is a shield to all those who takes refuge in Him. 2 Samuel 22:31.

Remember...Judge not, and ye shall not be judged; Condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned; Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven. Luke 6:37.

*** Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle***

Happiness depends on what you can give. Not what you can get. ~Mahatma Gandhi

Remember…Every problem is an opportunity to trust God. Christ must be the center of your relationships because He provides a stable, fixed point of reference; otherwise, your relationships will be frail and fragile. ~ NFBC Deaconess Board

If you are going to achieve excellence in big things, you develop a habit in little matters. Excellence is not an exception, it is a prevailing attitude. ~ Colin Powell

Remember……Ask, and it shall be given to you; Seek, and ye shall find; Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.  Luke 11:9.

Life's most persistent and urgent question is, "What are you doing for others?" ~Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Directions to Our Father's House...Make a Right onto Believeth Blvd. Keep Straight and go throught the Green Light, which is Jesus Christ. There, you must turn onto the Bridge of Faith, which is over troubled waters. When you get off the bridge, make a Right turn and keep Straight. You are on the King's Highway - Heaven Bound. Keep going for three miles: One for the Father, One for the Son and One for the Holy Ghost. Then exit off onto Grace Blvd. From there, make a Right onto Gospel Lane. Keep Straight and then make another Right onto Prayer Road. As you go on your way, Yield Not to the traffic on Temptation Avenue. Also, avoid Sin Street because it is a DEAD END. Pass up Envy Drive and Hate Avenue. Also, pass Hypocrisy Street, Gossiping Lane and Back-Biting Blvd. However, you have to go down Long-Suffering Lane, Persecution Blvd. and Trials & Tribulations Avenue. But that's all right, because VICTORY Street is Straight ahead! Amen!

Remember this... God can take total disaster and turn it into total victory!

Did you know...The type of seed you sow determines the type of harvest you'll reap. The good news is God has all the money He needs to fund ministry through His church. The bad news is - it's in your pocket! Remember, you will reap what you sow! Scripture rerf
erences: 2 Corinthians 9:6; Galatians 6:7.

A Note from the Pastor's Desk

We serve an on-time God: wouldn't you agree? So, let's all make a special effort to be on-time for church! We put forth a lot of effort to be on time for our jobs, appointments and other events that we consider to be important. But God should be at the top of our priority list. Let us keep in mind that God gave us His best. Doesn't He deserve our best in return?
