Inspirational Verses for the Week: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Therefore we
do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly
we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we
fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women. About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point. The good news is that many women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. A mammogram – the screening test for breast cancer – can help find breast cancer early when it’s easier to treat.

Grateful People Are Healthier People - "A simple grateful thought turned heavenwards is the most perfect prayer." Doris Lessing
Think of anything - big or small - that exists in your life, whether it is a relationship, a job, a particular flower, or your morning coffee. Now, if this thing were to disappear tomorrow and be gone forever, would you miss it? If you would, it is something to be grateful for today - because it is here in your life right now. How would our lives change if, every day, we focused on our abundance rather than on what was lacking? According to new research, we would be happier people. On the contrary, materialists - people who are focused on obtaining material goods - tend to feel more depressed and unsatisfied. - See more at: http://spiritualityhealth.com/blog/traci-pedersen/grateful-people-are-happier-people#sthash.seXZG0WV.dpuf
There were dangers awaiting me,
Destruction was sure to be
But thank God for angels
That were shielding and protecting and looking out for me,
Thank you, Lord
The Devil had a plan to kill me, I know
But God intercepted his plan
And told the Devil, "No"
God blocked it
He wouldn't let it be so
No, He wouldn't let it be so
Haven't lived a perfect life
Seems I've done wrong more than I've done right
But thank God for compassion and forgiveness
That kept me from a terrible plight
You see my life was spinning out of control
The fact that I'm still alive today
Ain't nothing, nothing but a miracle
God blocked it
He wouldn't let it be so
No, He wouldn't let it be so
(Written by Kurt Carr)

***Satan isn't after your joy; he is after your strength. The devil wants you too weak to pray. He wants you worn out and burned out. Satan wants to kill the head because he knows the body will fall! But the Lord will lift your head and shield you from the devil's plot against you, if you put trust in Him. As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried. He is a shield to all those who takes refuge in Him. 2 Samuel 22:31.
Remember...Judge not, and ye shall not be judged; Condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned; Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven. Luke 6:37.
*** Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle***
Happiness depends on what you can give. Not what you can get. ~Mahatma Gandhi
Remember…Every problem is an opportunity to trust God. Christ must be the center of your relationships because He provides a stable, fixed point of reference; otherwise, your relationships will be frail and fragile.

If you are going to achieve excellence in big things, you develop a habit in little matters. Excellence is not an exception, it is a prevailing attitude. ~ Colin Powell
Remember……Ask, and it shall be given to you; Seek, and ye shall find; Knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Luke 11:9.
Life's most persistent and urgent question is, "What are you doing for others?" ~Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Directions to Our Father's House...Make a Right onto Believeth Blvd. Keep Straight and go throught the Green Light, which is Jesus Christ. There, you must turn onto the Bridge of Faith, which is over troubled waters. When you get off the bridge, make a Right turn and keep Straight. You are on the King's Highway - Heaven Bound. Keep going for three miles: One for the Father, One for the Son and One for the Holy Ghost. Then exit off onto Grace Blvd. From there, make a Right onto Gospel Lane. Keep Straight and then make another Right onto Prayer Road. As you go on your way, Yield Not to the traffic on Temptation Avenue. Also, avoid Sin Street because it is a DEAD END. Pass up Envy Drive and Hate Avenue. Also, pass Hypocrisy Street, Gossiping Lane and Back-Biting Blvd. However, you have to go down Long-Suffering Lane, Persecution Blvd. and Trials & Tribulations Avenue. But that's all right, because VICTORY Street is Straight ahead! Amen!
Remember this... God can take total disaster and turn it into total victory!
Did you know...The type of seed you sow determines the type of harvest you'll reap. The good news is God has all the money He needs to fund ministry through His church. The bad news is - it's in your pocket! Remember, you will reap what you sow! Scripture rerferences: 2 Corinthians 9:6; Galatians 6:7.
